Every year kids and teens across Ohio nominate their favorite books for the Buckeye Children?s Book Award. ?Since 1981, this annual contest encourages students to exercise critical reading skills and to have open conversations about the merits of each title. ?Check here for a list of past winners.

The books eligible to win in 2012 have already been selected. ?But, if you?d like to help choose the 2012 winners, start reading now. ?Voting opens on September 1, 2012.
